A Casual Place is an independent games studio. We make games for the moments in between: a coffee on the armrest, ten minutes before dinner, friends round the kitchen table or scattered across time zones.
Every game we make is quick to learn and deep enough to keep you thinking. And every one is made with care, drawn like a real object you could reach out and touch: felt and leather, brass and walnut, all lit by the same warm lamp.

Games
Two games are on the way. Neither is officially out yet, so check back here for launch news.
Higher, lower or match. Empty your deck first.
A fast card game for one to eight players. Lay the top card of your face-down deck on one of five piles and call it: higher, lower, or a match. Call a match exactly and you play a card on every pile, five out in a single turn.
Fill a line, take it away. Nothing turns.
A grid puzzle about where things go. Hold three pieces, play them in any order, and clear rows and columns on an eight-by-eight board. Pieces never rotate and there is no single square, so every cell you strand is gone for good.
